Jean Frances (Coffman) Deidel, of Denver, a loving mother and homemaker, died June 14, 2019 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. Jean was born February 25, 1928 in Denver to James Coffman and Esther Waters-Coffman. She graduated from Cathedral High School and at the age of 19 married her husband Bernard Deidel. Jean and Bernard enjoyed 46 years together before Bernard passed away in 1993.
Jean is survived by her children; Jim Deidel, Judi (Ron) Patterson, Tom (Jeri) Deidel, Kathy Hollingsworth, Mike Deidel, Barb (Steve) Johnson, and grandchildren; Jenna Lynn Deidel (Phil), Neil Patterson, Daniel Patterson (Sandi), Michael Patterson, Greg Patterson (Jaimee), David Deidel (Kelly), Brian Deidel (Breanna), Christopher Hollingsworth (Amy), Kelly Cisneros (Gabe), Stephanie Birely (Randy), Derrick Deidel, Patrick Deidel (Jen), Nick Deidel, Jake Johnson, Lindsey Johnson, and Zach Johnson. Additionally, Jean is survived by 27 great-grandchildren; Courtney, Colton, (Cassidy: Preceded in death), Cooper, Casey, Bailey, Taylor, Mick, Emma, Delaney, Teagan, Bailey, Quinn, Joseph, Daniel, Randy, Kaitlyn, Michael, Noah, Grace, Eli, Faith, Jackson, Lily, Rocco, Grayson, and Luca.
Jean is also survived by her younger sister, Terry (Coffman) Jessop and her nephews David Jessop (Kelli) and Mark Jessop (Joy).
Jean lived a long, full life. Her toughness, wit, and independent nature will be missed.
Funeral Servcie Saturday, June 22, 2019, 10 am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood. Interment Monday, July 1, 2019, 12pm, Staging Area A, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
