Jean Dockstader

Jean Carrol (Rice) Dockstader passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 86.

Jean was born in Denver, Colorado to Vern and Gladys Rice and soon became part of the Strasburg community.

Soon after graduating from Strasburg High School she married Harry Dockstader in 1955.

Jean was an active member of the  American Legion Women’s  Auxiliary. Jean dedicated her time to youth bowling and help organized girls’ softball.

In the coming years Jean and Harry started their business known as C&S Equipment until they retired in 2002.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Harry Dockstader, parents Vern and Gladys Rice, siblings Jerry Rice, Robert Rice, Richard Rice, Betty (Rice) Sexton and Ronald Rice.

Jean is survived by Sharon (Dockstader) Gonzales and husband Gregory Gonzales of Broomfield, CO, Cindy Dockstader of Broomfield, CO, and grandchildren Rachael Gonzales of Fort Collins, CO and Zachary Gonzales of Broomfield, CO.

Jean will be laid to rest with Harry on December 16, 2020, at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
