Jean Marie Eman

Jean Marie Eman was born to John and Ida Landrum in Denver on May 16, 1960. She was the second in line of six Landrum sisters. In 1968, John and Ida packed their six platinum blondes to head east. Jean spent her school years in Butler, PA. Upon graduation, she moved back to Colorado and attended college. She studied at Regis University, and later earned her certification in dental assisting. She went on to teach at the Colorado Dental and Medical College. During this time, Jean met the love of her life – Jeff Eman. They later married, and welcomed two beautiful daughters to their family, Rachel and Rebecca. Jean dedicated her life to her husband and daughters. She devoted many years to her daughters' activities with the Westernaires, and taking care of their horses, Liberty and Suki. Jean and Jeff also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors together, camping and hiking in the mountains. One of Jean's favorite things was simply to spend time with her family members and friends, talking and laughing together. There is almost no better feeling for those who know her, than to sit and have a laugh with Jean. Jean also had an extremely generous spirit. She was content to live a modest life, and shared everything she had with others. From the time Jean was a small girl, her parents called her their ""Butterfly Girl,"" because she often trailed after the butterflies that flew around her, as she walked to her elementary school. Her enchantment with butterflies portrays a quality that stood out in Jean – a purity and innocence of heart. Please wear anything but black for the service.
