Jean Kemler

Jean Rose Kemler, 76 years old, from Dillon, Colorado passed away suddenly at Centura Health St. Anthony's Hospital in Lakewood on November 1, 2022.

Jean was born on October 19th, 1946 in Jersey City, N.J. and lived in Trenton and Ewing, N.J. for forty-six years. She attended St. Joachim's, Junior Four and Trenton Central High School. She married Karl George Kemler II in 1965 shortly after graduating high school. She worked for the New Jersey State Police in West Trenton, N.J. in their records and identification department for 17 years. She was also a huge cheerleader and soccer mom to her two children, Stacy and K.G. while they were growing up in N.J.

In 1993, Jean and Karl moved to Summit County, CO where they started and ran their own cleaning business. When she was not cleaning or doing laundry, she did occasionally ski green trails. Jean and Karl traveled the globe visiting six out of seven continents. Most memorable trips included Italy, France, Iceland, Rio de Janeiro, South Africa, New Zealand, China and 23 cruises. But her favorite vacation was visiting her grandchildren in New Jersey. Jean also became an active member of the High Country Baptist Church and then later, the Church at Agape Outpost in Breckenridge, CO. She loved her fellow church members as they held a special place in heart. Jean could be recognized by her purple hair which was reflective of her vibrant, joyful and serving personality.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Margaret Nuva of Trenton, N.J. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Karl George Kemler II; son, Karl George (K.G.) Kemler III; daughter, Stacy Ann (James "Bo") Burrows; two grandchildren, Jimmy Burrows and Chase Burrows; brother, Joseph (Lorna) Nuva; and their daughters, Danielle, Sharon and Meredith.

A celebration of Jean's life for family and friends will be held at The Church at Agape Outpost at 15404 CO-9, Breckenridge, CO on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
