Jean Tutchton

Margaret Jean Tutchton, 84, passed away April 23, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. She was born March 27, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland to Norman and Catherine McCarthy Murray. Jean was the Secretary at Notre Dame Elementary School for many years. She was one of those wonderful ladies who was known and loved by many students, their parents and her co-workers. Jean was a faithful woman, committed to her parish both as her work and as her faith home. She had a great sense of humor, and a deep devotion to her family, especially Roxanne and Isobel. Her many long-time friends knew her as a loyal friend and a true companion through life's ups and downs. Jean had the heart of a lion as she fought against the ravages of her relentless illness. Jean had a special place in the hearts of many and will be missed. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Monday, May 8, 2017, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80219. A reception for family and friends will be held at the Church immediately following the Mass. A private burial will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121 Memorial donations may be made in Jean's name to Notre Dame Catholic Church or to the Alzheimer's Association, http://www.alz.org/
