Jeanenne Bennett

Jeanenne was born to John G. and Lois E Guenthner, the first of their five children. In 1947 the family moved to Colorado for Jeanenne's health. She attended University Park School and South High School in Denver, and Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, where her degrees were in Music and English. Upon graduation from college, she moved to Milford, Connecticut where she taught elementary school for 19 years. She then returned to Colorado where she remained. Jeanenne passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her father, John Guenthner. She is survived by her mother, Lois Peterson of Littleton, her brother John T of Aurora, her sister Jacqueline Anderson of West Des Moines, Iowa, her sister Melanie Madigan of Lake Oswego, Oregon, her brother Craig Guenthner of Denver, nieces Kimberly, Lauren, Hannah, Sarah; nephews Matthew, Christopher, Jacob; grand-nieces Sophia and Charlotte; grand-nephews Riley and Nolan; and good friends Alice, Gerry and Jane; and her cat Bob.
