Jeanne B. Johnson

On December 16, 2005, Mrs. Jeanne Eileen Bahl Johnson, 61 years old, passed away at her home in Aurora, CO. Beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Jeanne was born in Greeley, CO on May 27, 1944 and raised in Minot, ND; the second of six children born to Ronald and Eleanor Bahl. Jeanne graduated in May 1962 from Bishop Ryan High School in Minot, ND. She married Edward Johnson in Minot, ND on December 29, 1966. Jeanne and Edward lived in North Dakota for 13 years before moving their family to Aurora, CO in May, 1980. Jeanne is survived by her mother Eleanor Bahl of Minot, ND; husband Edward Johnson; children David Johnson of Washington, DC, Michelle (Dave) Watkiss of Elburn, IL, and Steven (Alejandra) Johnson of Denver; sisters Marcia Walljasper of Ankeny, IA, Colette Kroeten of Fremont, NE, and Renee Johnson of Minot, ND; brothers Mark and Kirk Bahl of Minot, ND; and grandchildren Ryan Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Aiden Watkiss and Baby Watkiss (Due May 2006). Jeanne was best known for her loveable nature, infectious energy, boundless optimism, and child-like enthusiasm for life. She worked with special-needs children in the Aurora Public Schools System for 20 years prior to her passing. Jeanne will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
