Jeannie Ann Stenson, 58, passed away January 6, 2016 in Pueblo, Colorado. Jeannie was born September 21, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas to Billy E. and Lorraine Cordova. While growing up, Jeannie's father was serving in the the U.S. Army, so the family spent time in many places, including Texas, Kansas, Indiana, France, Germany and Colorado, where she would eventually reside. She attended Denver University initially and later in life received her nursing degree. Jeannie married, once, to Douglas Glen Stenson, they divorced in 2006. Jeannie spent most of her time with her family or working as either a registered nurse or legal nurse consultant. Her love of music, books and art was immeasurable. She passed her creative and open spirit to her three children. Jeannie left the world a better place for having her in it, no matter how brief her time here. She is survived by her three children, Emily, Rachel and Cameron, Denver, CO; parents, Billy and Lorraine Cordova, Ft Garland, Co; and siblings, Joanne Cordova, Denver, CO; Terry Cordova (Kathy), Chesterfield, MO; and Jodie Cordova (Jordan), Aurora, CO. A Memorial service for Jeannie will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 East Dartmouth Ave. (at Parker Rd.), Aurora, CO. 80014.
