Jeannine is preceded in death by her father and mother, her sister, and one grandchild. Survived by her husband of 61 years George. Her children Steven (Rhonda), Richard (Cindy), Gregory (Angie), and Lynda. Nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She graduated from South High Class of 1952, earned a Paralegal Associate's Degree in 1976, and held a PhD in Gravy Preparation and Education. She worked for over 16 years as a paralegal for several prominent Denver attorneys. Jeannine wrote many short stories that were widely read but not published. She volunteered at South High for more than 10 years in the Newcomer Class which consisted of all foreign students with little or no English knowledge. At teaching these kids basic skills she excelled. Expert at crossword puzzles and Jeopardy. Jeannine loved her friends from the ""Lunch Bunch"" who consist of lifelong friends from high school. Jeannine (the 'Little Irish Broad' to her closest friends) had such a quick wit that she could return a sarcastic remark (usually by a man) and cut him in shreads before he knew he was hit. Jeannine was a great wife, wonderful mother, a gifted teacher, and was exceptionally generous with her time. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 2:00pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block west of South Holly Street) in Centennial, Colorado 80122.
