Jeffrey Lee Clark

It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Lee Clark announces his passing on Sunday, October 23, 2011, at the age of 43. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 5:00 pm at Horan & McConaty Mortuary, 7577 W. 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. Jeff was born May 3, 1968 in Broomfield, Colorado to Jerry and Diana (Dee) Clark. Jeff grew up playing soccer and football in Broomfield, Colorado. He was active in sports at Grand Junction Central High School and played football, basketball, and baseball. Jeff attended Mesa State College and was assistant women's volleyball coach. He graduated with a BS degree and worked many years in the mortgage industry. Jeff enjoyed all sports, especially playing competitive volleyball and spending time on the golf course. Jeff married Stacy Lyn Adams on September 21, 1996. In this union, they were blessed with two sons, Austin (13) and Adam (4). He enjoyed attending sporting events with his family, including CU football, Avalanche, Rockies and Bronco games. Jeff adored his wife and children and loved the special vacations they took together. He cherished their special dinner and movie nights. Jeff was an accomplished handyman, and spent hours working on upgrading their house, building their deck and finishing their basement. He also took great interest in all of his nieces and nephews, loved spending quality time with them and following their activities. Jeff is survived by his wife, Stacy Clark; sons Austin Lee Clark and Adam Lee Clark; parents Jerry and Dee Clark; brothers Jamie (Shawnee) Clark, Jody (Erica) Clark; nephews Tazz Clark, Quinn Clark; nieces Tori Clark; Kaylin Clark, Zoe Clark. Additionally, sisters-in-law Diane (Mike) Boyd, Kim (Rick) Cox, Kathy (Jim) Duran, Lori (Larry) Holt; nephews Ricky Boyd, Chad Zimmerman, Ryan (Dana) Duran, Derek Duran, Erik (Lennie) Holt; nieces Lindsey Boyd, Laura (Randy) Voorhees; great nieces, Rori Zimmerman, Haley Duran; and great nephews Alarick Holt, Greyson Holt. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Clark; maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Dorothea Markham; paternal grandparents Alfred and Gertrude Clark; aunt and uncle Jerry and Jimmy Markham. Additionally, mother-in-law Betty Adams, father-in-law Dave Adams, and niece Brianna Zimmerman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ""Sons of Jeffrey Clark College Fund,"" Westerra Credit Union Account #905373.
