Jeffrey Forman

Jeffrey Stephen Forman, 58, of Denver, Colorado, passed away August 9, 2021. He was born July 7, 1963 in Denver to Willard Eugene and Charmaine Ann Van Forman.

Jeffrey was a lifelong resident of Denver.  He graduated from St. Vincent de Paul elementary school, Regis Jesuit High School, and Regis College. Jeff was an avid Denver Broncos fan and had season tickets his entire life. He also had a passion for snow skiing, playing with his second cousins, music, and going to concerts. His favorite artists were Jimmy Buffett, Bruce Springsteen, and Van Morrison who he saw an amazing 27 times all over the world.

One of Jeff’s other great passions and devotions was to the military.  In 1985, Jeff joined the United States Army Reserve as an infantryman.  In 1990 he joined the Judge Advocate General Corps as a paralegal.  He spent most of his service with the 87th Legal Operations Detachment.  In 1998, Jeff joined the Warrant Officer Cohort and continued his service in the JAG Corps family as a legal administrator.  In 2007, Jeff served in Operation Enduring Freedom.  He deployed to Iraq to serve in Forward Operating Base Shield as the Senior Warrant Officer in the Law and Order Task Force.

Jeffrey is survived by his aunt Shirley Johnston and cousin Rich Johnston of Lakewood, CO.; his half-sister, Sandra Stieringer of Bayard, WV.; and many friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, on Tuesday September 7, 2021, at Horan & McConaty, 1091 South Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80246.

Burial with Military Honors will be at 12Noon, also on Tuesday September 7, 2021 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver. Please gather at Staging area ‘A’ by 11:45am.
