Jeffrey Hill

Jeffrey J. Hill passed away at the age of 58 on September 14, 2021, after a battle with COVID-19. Jeff was born on July 21, 1963, to Benona and Eleanor (Joxen) Hill. He was raised in Pueblo, Colorado, and graduated from Pueblo County High School in 1981.

Following high school, Jeff moved to Denver, where he worked in construction and as a delivery driver for Coca-Cola. After driving over the road for a short time, Jeff went to work for Sysco Foods, where he drove trucks for 34 years.

Jeff married his wife Linda in 1986 and moved to Westminster, Colorado, where they raised two sons. He participated in the boys’ activities as much as he could, coaching them in baseball, traveling to wrestling matches and football games, and driving the marching band’s trailer to competitions. Jeff enjoyed riding motorcycles, and took many trips with his brother and friends, visiting several states and Canada. He also loved to go camping and ride ATVs.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Linda; his son Austin, daughter–in-law Anna, and grandson Casey; his son Brandon; his brother Benona and sister-in-law Rose, his sister Cheryl, and sisters-in-law Peggy Schick and Julie Stockwell. He also leaves behind his two best canine buddies, Blackjack and Gracie.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 27, at 11 a.m. at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home in Arvada. A mass will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pueblo. Memorial contributions can be made to Lifeline Puppy Rescue or to Stay the Trail (please include Jeff’s name in the notes).

Our gratitude goes to the many doctors, nurses, and others at Good Samaritan Hospital who provided the best care they could for Jeff while selflessly risking their own health. We can never thank you enough.
