Jennefer Ragan Neilson

Passed away, after a one year battle with breast cancer, in the arms of her husband Kerry, and her mother and father Barbara & Robert Ward, October 29, 2007. She died at her home in Littleton, Colorado. Ragan was born on February 18, 1975 in Shreveport, LA. She grew up in Cape Girardeau, MO, where she graduated from Central High School. She then earned a Bachelors Degree from Indiana University at Bloomington. She earned a Masters degree at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1999. Ragan went on to earn a Doctors degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University at Fort Collins, Colorado in 2005. Ragan met Kerry Neilson while working on her degree. They fell in love and were married on January 10, 2004 at Beaver Creek, Colorado. Ragan worked as a Human Resource Specialist for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Enviroment. Ragan and Kerry became the proud parents of Liliana Rae on September 12, 2006, 2 months before she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband Kerry, daughter Liliana Rae, parents Robert & Barbara Ward of Cape Girardeau, MO, sisters Michelle Alvey of St. Louis, MO & Carlye Wannanmacher of Springfield, MO, father & mother-in-law Jim & Carol Neilson, brother-in-law Kevin Neilson.
