Jennie C. Coulson

Jennie C. Coulson, 79, of Longmont, Ohio native, died April 4, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Yuma Taylor and Paul Castor. Jennie was a receptionist at the Aurora YMCA for over 18 years. She was a faithful member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Aurora. Jennie loved her family and friends, was an avid Denver Nuggets fan, and enjoyed playing Scrabble with friends. She is survived by three children, David R. Coulson, Robert W. Coulson II (Jennifer), Dana C. Mattson (Martin); 6 grandchildren, Eva, Zoe, Taylor, Bailey, Emmie Coulson, and Robert W. ""Bert"" Coulson III; a sister, Dorothy C. Heffelfinger. She is preceded in death by a daughter, the late Leah C. Kooiman; and her former husband and friend, the late Robert W. Coulson. A viewing will take place from Six O'clock until Eight O'clock in the Evening, Friday, April 8, at Horan & McConaty Chapel, 3020 Federal Blvd., Denver. A Funeral Service will take place 10:30am, Saturday, April 9, at Life House Covenant Church, 917 South Main St., Longmont, 80501. The burial will follow at 2:30pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Presbyterian Church, 11373 E Alameda Ave, Aurora, CO 80012.
