Jennifer Bourne

Jennifer Nicole Bourne PhD was born in Longmont Colorado on April 19, 1977 and died March 12, 2021 in Aurora Colorado.

Jennifer was  the research assistant professor of cell and developmental biology and manager of the electron microscopy core at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Denver and earned her PhD in neuroscience from Yale University. She played violin with the Aurora Symphony Orchestra and was an accomplished piano player.

She is survived by her older brother John Russell Bourne of Denver and her parents, Don and Arletta Bourne of Aurora.

Her family requests donations in Jennifer's name be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League or the Aurora Symphony Orchestra
