Beloved daughter, sister and friend, Jennifer ""Jenny"" Bransteitter, age 38, died in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
Born on March 2, 1981 in Denver, Jenny lived in Colorado her whole life. Jenny attended George Washington High School and received a volleyball scholarship to attend Otero Junior College. After completing her Associate's Degree, she continued on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Regis University, graduating cum laude.
Jenny dedicated her career to the service of others with her work as the Director of Social Services at Holly Heights Care Center, where she worked for over a decade - even receiving the award for Colorado Social Worker of the Year in 2014.
At a young age, Jenny picked up a volleyball and never looked back. As captain of the volleyball team in high school, she led the team to two city championships was named ""Female Athlete of the Year."" She played volleyball all throughout school and into adulthood. Jenny was actively involved in the Colorado volleyball community through Volleyball of the Rockies and as a volleyball coach for various teams.
Jenny was deeply loved by her sisters Gail and Bridget, her father Jesse, dog Cooper, her aunt Eileen and her community of wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy and now joins her in Heaven.
Services to celebrate the incredible gift of Jenny's life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Risen Christ Catholic Parish (3060 S. Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO 80222) with a reception at the parish hall. Following the services and church reception, relatives and friends are welcome to attend an additional reception at a private home.
Our dearest Jenny, whose generous soul believed deeply in the service of others, was profoundly passionate about two things: caring for the elderly and volleyball.
