Jennifer Ann Jackson

Jennifer Jackson, 54, of Long Island, New York, passed away peacefully Monday evening in her Lakewood home. She was born to the late Eileen and Joseph Jackson, September 2, 1959, in Huntington, NY. Jennifer graduated from Holy Family Diocesan High School in 1977 and received a degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Brockport. Jennifer relocated to the Denver area in the late 80's where she spent the majority of her professional life as a social worker. Throughout her career she remained passionate about making a difference in the lives of the metro area's troubled youth. As an active member of her parish she demonstrated through example what one person can do by dedicating their life to one of service. Jennifer had a heart of gold and enriched the lives of anyone fortunate enough to know her. We are all at a loss by her premature departure from this earth. Jennifer is survived by her three brothers: Christopher, Terrence and Kevin Jackson. A viewing will be held from 2-5pm Sunday, April 6 at Horan & McConaty's Funeral Home 3101 S. Wadsworth blvd. Lakewood, CO 80227 preceding a 10:30am Funeral Mass on Monday, April 7 at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Parish 6673 W Chatfield Ave, Littleton, CO 80128.
