Jennifer Peters

Jennifer ""Jenny"" passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was born to Harry and Ruth (Schertz) Sands on October 21, 1958 in Denver, Colorado. Jenny married her husband, Mark Peters, on December 21, 1986.

Jenny was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Parish. She retired from a career in corporate finance when her children were young, which enabled her to raise her two girls and be involved in their school, sports and social lives. She would do anything to be able to spend as much time as she could with Sam and Maddie. Later in life, Jenny volunteered at several philanthropic organizations, including the Denver Alumnae Chapter of Tri Delta and their support of Children's Hospital of Colorado. She was also a proud supporter of FOCUS and other faith-based youth and women-centered programs.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Mark; daughters, Samantha and Madeline of Fort Collins, Colorado; sister, Kimberly (Steve) Glogoza of St. Peters, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Matthew (JoEllen) Peters of St. Peter, Minnesota and Michael (Julie) Peters of Waseca, Minnesota; sister-in-law, Mary (Walt) Mobley of Prescott Valley, Arizona; extraordinary friends, John & Donna Boyle of Castle Rock, Colorado, Kelsie Boyle of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Sydney Boyle of Denver, Colorado; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the reading of the Rosary beginning at 6:30 PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado. Family and friends will be offered the opportunity to share memories following the Rosary.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish in Centennial, Colorado at 11:00 AM. Reception will be held immediately following the Mass. Jennifer's final resting place will be Chapel Hill Cemetery in Centennial.

Memorials may be made in Jennifer's honor to the aforementioned FOCUS Organization (www.focus.org).
