Jennifer Sue Simcox, 37, passed away at home, Sunday, February 8, 2009, in Littleton, CO. She was born September, 21, 1971 in Wheat Ridge, CO. Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Damion and three boys, Evan (11), Mason (8) and Colin (6); She is the youngest, much loved daughter of Jack R. Stunkard of Arvada, CO and Myrna J. O'Brien of Golden, CO. Jennifer is also survived by her beloved siblings Steve Stunkard of Lakewood, CO, sisters; Amy (Drew) Poston of Huntington Beach, CA and Katy Burley of Denver, CO. Daughter-in-law of John and Charlene Simcox, Jennifer is also survived by a large extended family of 4 sisters-in-law and 4 brothers-in-law and 24 loving cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Jennifer cherished her family and spending time with friends. She was prayerfully sensitive, was interested in the world around her, and responded to the needs of others. She traveled and took pleasure in all the beauties of God's world. Some of her favorite destinations were sunny Southern California as a child and with her children. Damion and Jennifer always looked forward to a trip to New York City and everything the city had to offer. Other special memories were of trips to Winter Park, Clear Lake, Las Vegas, Hawaii and Mexico. Jennifer was a loving wife and devoted mother. She will be remembered for her spirited conversations, excellent listening skills and a warm smile for friends and strangers alike. Jennifer was a classy woman, a stylish dresser and an outstanding member of the community, respected by many. Jennifer and her husband Damion were Golden High School sweethearts. Their first date was February 11, 1989 â when a fearless Jennifer asked Damion to the school's annual Sadie Hawkins Day dance. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Columbine Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 6705 S. Webster, Littleton, CO., where family members will begin to receive guests at 10:00 AM. Interment at the Golden Cemetery, located at 6th Avenue and Ulysses Street. In Jennifer's honor, and in lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to an education fund for her three boys.
