Jeremy Raun Bucholz

Jeremy Raun Bucholz Born February 29, 1976 in Minneapolis (St. Louis Park) MN. Jeremy lived as a child in Plymouth, MN, Morrisville, VT, Wichita, KS and Highlands Ranch, CO. He attended Maize High School in Kansas and after moving to Highlands Ranch, CO as a junior in high school graduated with honors from Highlands Ranch High School. Jeremy went to NDSU to become a chemist and began his career in the chemical aspects of the Asphalt Paving Industry while in college during summer jobs. He continued to work in the industry and his jobs included trouble shooting plant operations and overseeing compliance with state regulation and National legislation as well as lab work. At NDSU he became a very active member of Theta Chi Fraternity and forged life-long friendships with his fraternity brothers. Jeremy had many loves. Family; friends; skiing; anything about sports from being a master at sports trivia to playing basketball and racquetball to watching football (Vikings especially) and basketball (Celtics and Nuggets) and baseball (Rockies and Twins); he loved riding his motorcycle especially for cross country trips and was very proud of his little blue sports car; his cat Monster who adopted him was a special part of Jeremy's life; he loved fishing trips with friends and also organized ski holidays with friends. Jeremy loved music and played guitar and bass guitar. Extra special things about Jeremy were his smile, his fondness for being ""Uncle Jeremy"" to his friends' children and nephew, Jacob, his dry sense of humor and ability to help others laugh and find humor in life, his strong work ethic, his generosity and his passion for his many interests. Survived by parents Jerry Lee Bucholz and Donna Lea Bucholz (Evergreen, CO). Brother; Jeffrey Scot Tanner Bucholz (Denver, CO), David LaPolt (Littleton, CO), Brian LaPolt (Andrea Kohberger LaPolt). Nephew; Jacob LaPolt (Lilienfed, Austria). Grandmother; Elizabeth Bucholz (Devils Lake, ND). Grandparents; Bill and Hilda Eshelman (Minneapolis, MN). Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Dee Pigott Bucholz. Grandfathers; Ralph Pigott and Alvin Bucholz. Grandparents; Russell and Doris Dinger. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012, 2:00 PM at Church of the Hills, 28628 Buffalo Park Road, Evergreen, Colorado. Interment at Resthaven Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas.
