Jerome ""Jerry"" Mashek

July 29, 1922 — November 30, 2012

Jerry passed from this life on 11/30/2012. He served in the Army during WW II from 1943-1946. He was a member of the 36th Infantry Division deployed to Europe. He was married to Flossie on 08/28/1948. They first met when she was only 8 years old, they danced together at the tavern her Dad owned in Moscow Mills, MO. After returning from the war, he was reunited with Flossie and they were married one month after she turned 18. Four children later, the young couple moved their family to Colorado in 1963. Jerry taught his family the value of hard work and strong ethics by providing a loving home where he and Flossie nurtured and raised four successful children. Jerry is survived by his wife of 64 years, Flossie. He also has four children: Rich (wife Barb), Peggy, Pam and Randy (wife Bobbi) nine grandchildren: Zach (wife Breanne), Jami (husband Jake), Lisa (Matt), Ben, Adam, Amber (Mike), Andrea, Matt, and Chris - four great-grandchildren: Natalie, Camden, Brennan, and Cooper. A Memorial Service for Jerry will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: Notre Dame Catholic Church, 5100 W. Evans Avenue, Denver, CO 80219. Please make donations ""In Memory of Jerry Mashek.""
