Jesse Evan Childress

Jesse, 29, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012. SSgt Jesse Childress was the Cyber Systems Operations Technician for the 310 Force Support Squadron, Communications Element, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado. SSgt Childress came to the 310th from the Inactive Reserve. Some of his responsibilities were providing technical solutions and procedural guidance to the 310th Space Wing. He scheduled and provided technical assistance to information users on a wide variety of computer issues. He was responsible for maintenance, administration of all computer software and hardware issues. SSgt Childress entered the armed forces in 2002 with the United States Army. He was trained as a Satellite Systems Operator. He joined the United States Air Force Reserve in 2010 and was trained as a Cyber Systems Operation Technician.
