Jesse Rodriguez

October 21, 1980 — March 16, 2020

Always on our minds… forever in our hearts
Beloved & Adored Son
Cherished & Unforgettable Friend

“We do not remember days, we remember moments.”
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
“Today, tomorrow, our whole lives through… we will always love and remember you.”
“It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. Part of us went with you, wherever you may roam.”

Jesse (Jesus) Raymond Rodriguez of Northglenn was born October 21, 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona. He passed away March 16, 2020 in Northglenn, Colorado at the age of 39. Throughout his years he was also known as Fozzie Bear, Phoenix, E-frin Humperdink and many other nicknames since he himself was the king of giving everyone a nickname.

Jesse is survived by his mother, Cindy Wilson; stepfather, Albert Bandin, Sr.; siblings, Greg Pinedo, Sr., Stephanie and Albert Bandin, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Greg Pinedo, Jr., Celia, Genre, Zaphie, Phoebe, Mersadi, Marcy and Taylor; great nieces and nephews, Greg Pinedo, III, Corinna, Ivy, Xavier, Azeneth, Kimberly, Azael and Attis; aunts and uncles, Harvey Wilson, III, Carmen and Nestor Bandin, Sr.; and cousins, Harvey Wilson, IV, Jose, Davina, Clarisa and Nestor, Jr.

Jesse was preceded in death by his sister, Corinna Bandin; his niece, Malaina; great aunt, Esperanza Steffen; grandparents, Harvey Wilson, Jr. and Consuelo Wilson; and aunt, Onesima Bandin.

Jesse was the life and humor of any party, and will always be remembered for the many laughs and smiles he brought to all of those who came in contact with him. He went to Thornton High School where he played football throughout his years until he graduated in 1999. Playing basketball was one of his favorite things to do with friends during his teenage years. He worked for many places throughout high school, and afterward including Kmart, Little Caesars, Safeway, Albertson's, King Soopers, Alliance Data, Journeys, Renzenberger (transportation for the BNSF railroad workers), and Alpine Waste & Recycling. Jesse was working on his bachelor's degree in Business Management through the University of Phoenix online, and was only a couple of classes away from that goal when he passed away. When he was not doing schoolwork or working… Jesse loved watching (and collecting) movies, listening to music (and/or watching music videos), and hanging out with his neighborhood and childhood friends.

Due to the timing of his death, and the pandemic of COVID-19, there was a private family gathering March 25, 2020 from 11:30am - 12:30pm at Horan & McConaty located at 3020 Federal Boulevard in Denver where some of his closest family and friends gathered to say goodbye and share stories of Jesse before his cremation took place.

The family will host a private celebration of life gathering at a later date and time for all of his friends and remaining family to come together and share many cherished memories, moments, and stories of our beloved Jesse.

Jesse was deeply loved by many, and will be greatly missed. Please feel free to share your stories, memories, or nicknames with his family and friends here in his memorial guestbook.
