Jessie Joe Guerra

Jessie ""Jess"" Joe Guerra, 44 of Westminster, Colorado passed away on March 16, 2018. He was born on May 9, 1973 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Jessie was an avid sports fan, experienced snowboarder, and amazing mechanic. He enjoyed watching the Colorado Avalanche with his children and his brother and was a huge Greenbay Packers fan. Jessie enjoyed relaxing and playing his guitar while jamming out to some hard rock or metal. He was employed by Av-Tech Electronics in Golden, Colorado. Jessie was a movie enthusiast and loved quoting lines and joking with his family. He was an incredible grandfather and loved working on the occasional science project with his granddaughter. He loved road trips and vacationing with his family and friends. Jessie was a man with a heart of gold and the life of the party, he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children: Zachary (Graciella) Varela of Pecos, New Mexico, Brandon (Crystal) Gallegos of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Erica Guerra of Silver City, New Mexico; Granddaughter: Jacquelyn Gallegos of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Parents: Jessie and Susanne Guerra of Westminster, Colorado; Sister: Amanda (Roman) Garcia of Arvada, Colorado; Brother: Robert (Tony) Guerra of Westminster, Colorado; Grandfather: Robert Guerra of Fort Sumner, New Mexico; Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dinner and Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 4-6pm at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 833 Early Street, Santa Fe. Memorial Service to follow dinner, 7:30-8:30pm, at the Loretto Chapel, 207 Old Santa Fe Trail, Santa Fe for family and friends.
