Reuben “Jim” Camaren, 90, passed away peacefully at home in Westminster, Colorado surrounded by family, after a 3-month battle with cancer. He enjoyed a long happy life.
Jim was born on October 6, 1930 in Brentwood, California. He was the youngest of eight children all of whom were very close. He was a loving husband of Marjorie for sixty- eight years. Together they raised three loving sons, Jim, John and Paul, all of whom were at his side during the last months. They have six wonderful grandchildren.
He is fondly remembered by many lifelong friends.
Jim earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley and was a university professor and managerial consultant in the United States and abroad.
Jim with his wife, enjoyed stimulating conversation with friends and colleagues. Together they travelled to over thirty countries. They particularly enjoyed living and working in Western Australia for ten years.
A private family service will take place later this year.
