Jim Traphagen

Traphagen, James Donald (Jim) 41, of Broomfield, was taken from this life on June 10, 2010. Jim is survived by his wife Christine Traphagen, his daughter Jordan Traphagen; brother Jerry and his wife Kimberly Traphagen of South Dakota; niece Shelby Traphagen of South Dakota; his parents Donald and Ella Traphagen of Missouri; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Jim graduated from Rapid City Central High School in 1987. He attended ITT Tech in Aurora, where he graduated with honors. He worked at several different engineering companies and was able to travel the world to over 42 different countries. Jim had a profound love of riding motorcycles. He would eat, breathe and dream of them. He was doing what he loved to do best when the motorcycle accident occurred near Dayton, Ohio. He was an active member within the Colorado VTX Range Riders, where he had made many, many friends. He was a loving father, wonderful husband and sole-mate, caring brother and son. Memorial Services are being held at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel at 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, Colorado on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 10:00 am.
