Jimmy Dan Mashburn (Jim) passed away peacefully at his home in Denver, Colorado on March 31, 2022. Jim was born July 1, 1950 in Edmund Oklahoma to Joyce L. Payne and Ward Mashburn.
Jim joined the Army in September 1970, he spent 5 years serving his country, a portion of that time during the Vietnam War.
Jim worked as a meatcutter for Safeway, King Soopers and Cub Foods. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing, camping and watching football, NASCAR, and baseball.
Jim is survived by his partner of 38 years, Antonia Diana Mashburn, his daughters Holly Mashburn and Renee Huseman, and his grandchildren, Riley and Bailey Brown and Kelby Huseman.
A burial with military honors will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 11:30 am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan, Denver, CO.
