Jimmy DeWayne Perkins, 74 died at Swedish Medical Center on November 30, 2020 after a fall.

Jim was born on April 11,1946 in Birmingham Alabama. He moved to Denver as a young child with his family.

In 1985, Jim married his wife Alice Kramb. Although, Jim and Alice graduated in the same class from Abraham Lincoln High School, they did not meet until Alice started working at the Norgren Company, where Jim was already working. Jim graduated from the University of Colorado, then went on to the University of Phoenix where he received his MBA.

Although Jim was dealt rough health issues, he was a most positive guy. Before his devastating accident on March 10, 1993, he loved to golf, bowl, and take long walks. When he ended up in a wheelchair, he would go for long rides in his chair. He loved the Broncos and the Rockies. He was in a Fantasy Football League, and he and his partner, Tim James, won the championship a couple times, and they are hoping to win again this year. GO ADVENTURERS!!!!!

Jim was a very proud member of the Arapahoe Sertoma Club. He had been Treasurer, President and Chairman of the board.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, David J. Perkins and Keren H. Jolly; and his sister, Twyla Perkins.

He is survived by his wife Alice; his children, James Marcil (Venus), Jennifer Chichester (Jeff) and Tina Perkins. Grandchildren, Cheyenne Perkins (Alex), Aramis Perkins-Ulrich, Madison Best (Tyler), Travis Axtell and JJ Marcil.
