Jo Beth Gerk

Jo Beth Gerk, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on March 17, 2020 at home.

Jo was born in Tahoka, Texas on December 28, 1945 to Theodore and Velma Gass. She has two siblings, Leon Gass and Gwen Faulkner; four nephews; 2 brothers-in-law; 3 sisters-in-law; 7 nieces-in-law and 2 nephews-in-law.

She married Leonard Gerk on October 24, 1966 at the Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, Texas. She enjoyed hiking and traveling, particularly road trips, and worked as a Checker at Safeway for many years. She loved dogs and they brought her great joy.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard Gerk; daughter, Kimberly (and her husband Damon) Lona and granddaughters, Danae and Brooke Lona.

Jo Beth will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery in a private family ceremony.
