Joan Ellen Beltrami

Joan Ellen Eggleston was born February 28, 1943. She was the daughter of Dick Eggleston and Marilyn Hathaway, Denver. She passed Tuesday, December 11, 2018. She graduated from Lutheran High School, loved retail and became the Purchasing Manager at the University of Colorado Boulder Book Store. Her older sister, Janice, passed this November. Her brother, Mark Eggleston and Linda Muhlbauer live in Lakewood. She had a daughter, Jacklyn, who passed in 1976. Joan’s son, John Barry Taylor lives in Lafayette. She married Sal Beltrami in 1977 and had a daughter, Elizabeth Garnet Beltrami, Denver. Elizabeth’s first birthday was celebrated near Capetown, South Africa. The University sponsored the Semester at Sea program where Joan operated the Book Store for the Voyage Around the World in the fall semester of 1978. She was artistic by nature and loved needlework. All of her nieces, nephews and friends’ children have a baby quilt made with Love.
