Joan Grady

Joan Florence Butterworth Grady, 92, from Parker, passed away on December 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 4, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Roderick Butterworth and his wife Pearl Levy. Joan married George Grady on November 24, 1954 and together they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Joan was an education professional for 34 years. She enjoyed her cats, puzzles, travel, stamp collecting, her Hummel collection and spending time with her family. Joan is survived by her children: Alicia Sukle and her husband, Tim of Parker, and Glen Grady and his wife, Bambi of Pueblo; and six grandchildren. A memorial service for Joan will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 19580 Pilgrims Place, Parker, CO 80104, followed by a luncheon at the Pikes Peak Grange, 3093 N. State Hwy 83, Franktown, CO 80116. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Girl Scouts of Colorado.  Please leave a condolence for Joan’s family in the guestbook below.
