Joan Beatrice Shutts

Joan Beatrice Shutts, 77, resident of Littleton passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Sky Ridge Medical Center. She was born in Minneapolis Minnesota on April 30, 1930. Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She blessed every life she touched and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband Frank; children, Mike (Mary), Steve, Dianne (Martin) Marlow, John; grandchildren Curtis Prize, Nathan Shutts, and Marisa Shutts. Joan is also survived by 3 brothers; Tom Langlais, Richard (Jan) Langlais and John(Karen) Langlais and numerous other loving relatives. A visitation for all her family and friends will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008 from 6 to 7:30PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, 80227. A rosary will follow at 7:30PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Reverend Kenneth Leone on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 4PM at Church of the Risen Christ Catholic Church, 3060 S. Monaco Way, Denver, 80222. A reception will follow mass at a location to be announced. Burial will be held Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver at 10AM at staging area ""A"". Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to The Samaritan House of Denver or Little Sisters of the Poor.
