JoAnn (Leppo) Addington, 79, of Aurora Colorado, passed away on January 4th 2025 after a long and valiant fight against lung cancer.
JoAnn was born on March 24, 1945 to parents William and Gladys Leppo in Hanover, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school she attended Business School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
She married Mick Addington in November 1966, and were together for 58 years. Mick was in the Air Force so they were able to see many different places in the world. Finally making Colorado their permanent home.
JoAnn was a dedicated Executive Secretary for the Veterans Affairs office. She was known for her hard work and professionalism. After she retired she was awarded the American Flag for her years of service. She was very proud of that honor.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents William and Gladys.
She is survived by her husband Mick Addington, children Holly (husband Mike) and Chris.
Her brother Allen (wife Barb). Her grandchildren, Saranda (husband Mike), Kasey (husband Jon), Sam, Shayla, and Micah.
Her great grandchildren (who were her pride and joy) Isaac, Olive, Taylor, Eden and a great granddaughter due in March 2025.
She is deeply loved and will be remembered and greatly missed by many.
