JoAnn Davis Williams

JoAnn Davis Archibald Williams, of Frederick, Colorado, beloved wife and mother, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona, of natural causes. JoAnn was born in Malad, Idaho, December 19, 1935, one of 12 children, to Griff and Vernal Davis. She was married September 14, 1952 in Malad to Boyce Tims Archibald, her high school sweetheart. Soon after, Tim joined the Air Force and the next few years they lived in England, California, the Philippines, and Colorado, where he retired from the service. Tim passed away on January 24, 1989. Ann met and later married William ""Bill"" H. Williams on October 5, 1990, in Brighton, Colorado. The next few years they celebrated life in Colorado, Hawaii, and back to Colorado to live in Longmont and then Frederick. They also lived seasonally in Arizona. JoAnn leaves behind her husband, Bill Williams; daughters, Angela Porter (Terry), of Anchorage, Alaska; Shelly Reinschnidt (Kevin) of Mead, Colorado; sons, Gary Archibald (Amy), of Broomfield, Colorado; Rodney Archibald (Dawn) of Castle Rock, Colorado; stepchildren, Debbie (Rick) Ahrens, Scott Williams, Steven Williams, Caren (Bill) Rhoades; grandchildren, Christopher Brannon Porter (Jenniffer), David Porter (Amy), Meliah Crow (Troy), Jaben Porter, Jaren Porter, Christopher Dana Darlington (Tressa), Avalon (Michael) Ross, Jason Archibald (Jenn), Patrick Archibald (Lindy), Kyle Archibald (Kaleigh), Jonathan Hammond, Christian Archibald and Nicole Archibald; step-grandchildren, Ashley Luman, Amy Ahrens, Bennett Horton and William Horton; great-grandchildren, Lillianna, Brenna and Liam Porter; Shira, Asher and Bohdan Porter; Weston, Makayla and Malachi Crow; Kylie Porter; Wyatt Archibald; Ryan and Cora Leavitt; Zayden and Jared Darlington; one more Archibald on the way; many friends, and her dog Mozart. She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Mary Jane (Randy) Ahrens. JoAnn is also survived by her sisters, Pearl (Darwin) Tolbert of Salt Lake City, Utah; Deanna (James) Johnston of Roseville, California; and her brother Jack (Janette) Davis of Pocatello, Idaho. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9029 Grand Mesa Ave., Frederick, Colorado. A viewing will be held at the Church from 1:00-1:45 pm. Burial will be in the Malad Idaho Cemetery. The exact day and time is yet to be determined.
