Joanna Sasim

Eunice Joanna Sasim, beloved mother, wife and friend passed away at Denver Hospice on Friday, July 31, 2015. She was 76. Joanna is the daughter of Lyle and Alta (Hawley) Nelson and was born on May 19, 1939 in Corvallis, Oregon. She was married to Theodore Sasim on April 21, 1967. She loved to cook, bake, talk, and do puzzles (jigsaw and others). Joanna is survived by her loving and devoted husband Theodore; daughters Cynthia, Judy and Debbie; grandchildren Rachel, Theodore Michael, Cassandra, Denise and Michael; great grandchildren Theodore Leroy and Emily; and sister Sharon Morton. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Philip, sisters Aquila and Bethel, and son James. A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Arapahoe Road Baptist Church, 780 East Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado 80122. A luncheon will follow.
