Joanne Kinsella

Joanne Kinsella, 79, passed away in comfort and peace at her home on March 22nd surrounded by her family. Joanne was born in “The Big Apple,” NY, NY. She married Bill Kinsella in 1965 and they had 2 children. In 1972, the family moved to Colorado. Joanne was a loved and valued staff member of Columbine Country Club for 25 years. After retirement, she built a successful dog-sitting business where she created deep friendships, of both the 2- and 4 -legged kind. Joanne was an extremely creative lady, known for her excellent gourmet meals, sewing, quilting, gardening, and canning. She loved to visit art museums and listening to French music. Joanne enjoyed many trips with her family, but her favorite trips were to the Colorado mountains. Although she loved living in Colorado, Joanne remained proud to be from “The Big Apple.’’ She was predeceased by her son Bill Kinsella, Jr. and is survived by a family heart-broken by losing them both. Joanne’s loving survivors include her sisters Annie Stipeck and Carolyn Stipeck, and brother Jim Stipeck; her daughter Carolyn Kinsella and her son -in -law Val Erpelding; her daughter- in-law Lisa Fritz-Kinsella and grandson Nathan Fritz; and life-long friend Bill Kinsella. She was a favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life for Joanne will be at 1 pm, Tuesday April 12th at Horan & McConaty, 5303 East County Line, Centennial CO 80122.
