JoAnne Mary Piccolo

Jo Anne Piccolo died peacefully on December 18, 2012. She is preceded in death by her adoring mother, Annette Piccolo. JoAnne was born in Denver on May 11, 1951. Left to cherish her memories are her loving father, Leonard Piccolo;her aunt Doreen Piccolo; cousins, Mary Ann Pavone, Rosemarie Zlotnick, David Anselmo, Denise Gensch, Cynthia Wax, John Anselmo. JoAnne enjoyed a successful life long career as an educator, accomplished author and mentor. Her proudest achievement was having the ability to teach her young students the importance of reading and writing, a passion that never diminished. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the caregivers who have been so generous with love, kindness and encouragement for JoAnne's comfort and happiness.
