Joe ""Willy"" Miera

Joe Willy Miera, was born in Costilla, New Mexico on June 16, 1938 to Elisandro Miera and Cora (Rael) Miera, and died at his home in Englewood, Colorado on August 15, 2016 at age 78. Willy is survived by his significant other, Juanita Sanders, his children, Anita (Brian Seymour) Miera, Shirley (Leroy) Alarid, Willy (Susan) Miera and David (Joette) Miera; Juanita's children, Ross, Shelley and Raymond Sanders; brother, Herbert Miera, sister Nancy (Chris) Aragon; He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michael Miera, Veronica Miera, LaTisha Salas, Mariah Salas, Andrea Alarid, Devonne Miera, Joseph Miera, Rachel Miera, Jennifer Miera, James Vigil, David Miera, Jr., Angel Miera, Matthew Ortiz and Adam Ortiz, and great grandchildren (Grandpa Grape) Clara-Dee Miera, Ivy Miera, Christopher Lopez, Aniyah Miera, Elijah Lopez, Isabella Miera, Armani Miera and Deamyn Uhrig. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara (Rodriguez) Miera, his sisters Elaine and Gerry. Visitation will be held Monday, August 22nd , 10AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard. The Funeral Mass follow at 11AM. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
