Joe was the second of nine children born to Joseph Allen and Fern Joan Montgomery Wyatt in Superior, Nebraska. When Joe was two, the family moved to Colorado where he stayed for the rest of his life. Graduating from Jefferson High School in Edgewater, CO in 1974, and continued his education graduating from Westwood College in 2003 in HVAC. Joe's career took him in a variety of different fields. When he and Kathleen met he was working in an auto part store, then into building maintenance, and as he continued his education he worked as an HVAC specialist for various companies, until he was forced into early retirement. In February of 1984 he was a parts specialist with Wise Buy Auto Parts where he met his wife Kathleen Louise Delaney who went in to get parts for a vehicle. After just 13 days of dating, and spending every waking moment together they decided to get married on March 2, 1984. They celebrated their 31st anniversary this last March. Knowing Kathleen had five children that he took on as his own immediately, and was later able to adopt them. Joe and Kathleen were sealed on March 2, 1990 and the family was sealed in the July 1992. In March of 1993 he started raising a nephew, Brett Delaney. While being active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints he filled many different callings such as Elder's Quorum president, ward clerk, and the sports director. He is surpassed by his two sisters along with his parents Joseph Allen Wyatt and Fern Joan Montgomery Pevler. Survived by his wife, Kathleen, children;, James (Kristal Wilson), Cynthia (Joshua Wilcox), Anthony, Joshua Wyatt-Dragoo (Christine), Joseph (Margaret Carlson), and Marian (Trevor Allen), Brett Delaney (Niccole Lehman). Grandchildren, Ariel, Austin, Brian, Corey, Mason, Colton, Emily, Tala, Johnathan, Azhe'ni, Olivia, Donovan, and Levi, along with 3 sisters, and 3 brothers. The viewing will be held at the (Ames building) LDS chapel, 3480 Ames St. Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10am with the services being held afterwards.
