John Bartmann

John was a band teacher for 30 years in the Cherry Creek School District. He was also a trumpet player with Queen City Jazz Band for 27 years, in the 5th Army Band and the ""Rolling Along Show"", a showgroup which appeared on the Ed Sullivan TV show and toured the world. John moved to Colorado from the Chicago area with his wife to ski and fish the Colorado mountains. He was on the volunteer ski patrol at A Basin. Johns LOVES were his family, friends, music, fishing and skiing. John was preceded in death by his son, W. Chad Bartmann. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Fran; son John B.; brothers Tom and Louis and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Sunday at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 South Colorado Boulevard, Denver, CO.
