John M. Bis, Jr.

John, 57, passed away May 12, 2010 after a long illness in Littleton, Colorado. A beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and brother, his survivors include his mother Jane Bis of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his wife of 30 years, Francine; children Rachelle (Stephan) Gerali and Steven Bis; granddaughters Laurel and Aubrey Gerali; and brother Allen Bis also of Kalamazoo. John graduated from Hackett High School and Western Michigan University with a Master's Degree. He moved to Colorado in 1981, where he worked for an engineering firm. Visitation to be held Monday, May 17, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m., both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Funeral Mass to be held Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a luncheon reception, both at Light of the World Catholic Church, 10316 West Bowles Avenue, in Littleton, Colorado. Interment follows at 2:15 p.m. at Mount Lindo Memorial Park, 5928 South Turkey Creek Road, in Morrison, Colorado.
