JOHN V. BUDD

John V. Budd, born Oct. 1, 1925 in Broadhead, CO left us April 7, 2006. Mr. Budd led an extraordinary life. At age 14, he worked in the Civilian conservation Corp and saved enough money to purchase his first piece of property the following year. He served in the Army during WWII and later completed his Bachelor of Science in animal husbandry at Colorado A & M (CSU) in Ft. Collins. He worked in various fields of agriculture and kept a cattle ranch in Las Animas County. He founded Budd Investment in 1958 and began purchasing real estate in the Denver metro area. His ability to master various tasks no matter how difficult, was the cornerstone of his success as a husband, father and businessman. Husband of 52 years to Elizabeth; father of John Budd and Mary (Robert)Newstead; grandfather of Marc Baroni; brother of Joann (George) Marck and Ann Begley; brother-in-law of Hazel and Rose Slevc. Visitation, Tuesday, 4-7:00 PM. Rosary at 7:00 PM, both at Horan & Mcconaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, 11:00 AM, St. Louis Catholic Church, 3310 S.
