John Martin Cataline, II

John passed away on September 1, 2018 in Aurora, Colorado. He is survived by his husband Ben Bishop, parents Carol and John Cataline of Geneva, NY, brothers Michael of Geneva, NY, and David of Baltimore, MD, in laws Deborah and Jackson Bishop, best friend Lori (Chuck) Griffith, and numerous loved ones.

John was born and raised in Geneva, New York to John and Carol Cataline. He enlisted with the Army in 1992 and served till 1993. He attended Edinboro University in Pennsylvania and graduated from Metro State University in 2005. He met the love of his life, Ben Bishop, in 1991, in Denver, Colorado and married on December 9, 2015.

He worked with CenturyLink for 20 years, starting in 1998. He proudly served the members of Communications Workers of America as their Vice President. He was an avid supporter of the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation for 40 years.

He will be remembered for his love of scuba diving, outdoors, traveling, music, and family.
