Jack C. Dillon, 78 of Denver passed away April 11, 2016. born and raised on a dairy farm in Olivia, MN to John S. and Emma E.(Kubesh) dillon. He married Margaret (Maggie) lone Cash of Kansas City, MO in 1966. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, maggie; daughter Julie Sullivan (Shawn); sons John (Daniela) and Ryan (Kate); grandchildren Anne, Caroline and Sadie Sullivan, Jack and Hazel Dillon; sisters Mary Laraway (Willis), Rose Gravelle (Dick), Eileen Gas(Bill) and Karyn Corley (Bill) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma; brother Gene, sisters Marjorie and Alice. He graduated from South Dakota State University in 1961 and loved the Jack Rabbits. He moved to Colorado and started work for American Family Insurance in 1967. He was a dedicated and hard-working agent for 45 years. Jack was a Broncos season ticket holder since 1969. He was so happy watching football (and any sporting event) with his family and friends. He had a farm north of Denver and enjoyed working the land Jack and Maggie have a cabin near Clark, CO and they enjoyed working many years exploring and getting to know the people of North Routt County. Many wonderful celebrations with friends and family were held at the cabin. Jack was a generous and loyal friend to so many people. A stranger usually became a friend within a few minutes of talking to Jack. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend. Jack had a story for any occasion and will be fondly remembered by all who know him.
