John Walter Fenton (54) of Centennial, CO died peacefully at his home on April 3, 2016. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, John was the son of Patricia Tuohy and the late John L. Fenton. He was preceded in death by his daughter Elizabeth Mary Fenton. John grew up in Pepper Pike, Ohio and graduated from Orange High School. In 1979, John moved out west to Boulder where he quickly adapted to the Colorado lifestyle. He attended the University of Colorado, where he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration. John was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He enjoyed several summers as a horseback riding counselor at Cheley Camp in Estes Park. As the owner of Tulagi's on the Hill, John was an avid supporter of the Boulder music scene during the 80's and 90's as he provided a venue for local musicians to share their talent. John later moved to Centennial, Colorado in 2003 and continued to enjoy biking, skiing and being with his family and friends. John is survived by his 4 sibling Joli O'Mara (Steve) from Boston, Nancy Komatz (David) from Colorado, Mark Fenton (Lenore) from Chicago, and Todd Fenton (Amy) from Colorado. John has 10 nieces and nephews -- Kevin, Tim, and Danny O'Mara, Chase, Katie, and Keaton Komatz, Amanda and T.J. Fenton, and Riley Kate and Gavin Fenton. The funeral service is Monday April 11th 2016 beginning at 10:00 AM, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227, followed by a reception at the home of Todd Fenton.
