John James Glisan, 67, of Elizabeth, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 13, 1950 in Texas, he was the son of Henry and Evelyn Glisan. John married Pamela on May 15, 1981 and together they shared 36 wonderful years of marriage. John worked as a contractor for over 30 years. He enjoyed listening to music, working on carpentry projects, reading spy novels, playing card and board games, Forge of Empires, trips in his Cobra, Denver Bronco games, and above all spending time with his wife, and best friend, Pam, along with the beautiful dogs that they raised together over the years. They traveled together and shared so many memories that she will forever cherish. In addition to his wife, Pam, John is survived by his beloved pet, Sunny; son, Greg Glisan and his wife, Marcie; his granddaughter, Dana Glisan; siblings: Carolyn Sarantos and her husband, Phil, and Billy Glisan and his wife, Michelle; his sisters-in-law: Janell Gleason and her husband, Jim, Patricia Tracy, and Debbie Altman and her husband, Dave; and his brother-in-law, Douglas Kohnen and his wife, Sharon; and his mother-in-law, Betty Kohnen. A Memorial Service for John will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014.
