John Meikle McCracken Greenlees

John Meikle McCracken Greenlees, 88, of Aurora, CO passed away on December 4, 2015 in Aurora. He was born November 11, 1927 in Ayr, Scotland to the late William & Mary Greenlees. Throughout his life, John worked as an automotive painter for public service transportation. He served as a messenger in the Scottish Home Guard as a young man in Scotland. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love for singing and listening to country music and the outdoors. John was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying soccer and Broncos football. Survivors include; sons, John & wife, Barby Greenlees and Vaughn & wife, Jane Greenlees; 1 grandson; and 4 great grandchildren. Service for John will be held at a later date in the Spring of 2016 in Scotland.
