John Joseph Sarazen IV

John Joseph Sarazen IV was born on May 4, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents John Joseph Sarazen III and Vera Sarazen. John always had a larger than life personality accompanied with his faith in the Lord. He would often say, ""God is my co-pilot"" and this is as true today as ever. John will always be remembered for his generosity, for being a family man, and for his great devotion to our country. Retired from the United States Air Force, John Joseph Sarazen IV passed away peacefully just outside of Tampa, Florida on Thursday, October 4, 2018.

John is survived by his beloved wife Donna Sarazen of 25 years. His children: John Joseph Sarazen V and his wife Raechella, Gordon Sarazen and his wife Lokelani, Scott Donschikowski and his wife Claire. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Jonathan, Ryan, Kanoa, Madeline, Cooper, Alexis, and Evan. John is survived by loving siblings: Sister Jewel and her husband Edward Pate, Sister Patrice and her husband Roderick Brooks, his brother Shawn and his wife Lynese Sarazen, and his sister in law Sylvia Sarazen. He is also survived by his nieces, Molly Sarazen and Sherese Sarazen; and nephew, Michael Brooks.

John is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dwight Sarazen, and his nephew Shawn Sarazen Jr.

A funeral honoring John's life will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Centennial, Colorado with a visitation beginning one-hour prior. The address for the funeral home is 5303 East County Line Road. John will be laid to rest with Air Force Honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
