John Robert Jenkins

John R. Jenkins Survived by daughter Susan (Peter) Clarendon; grandchildren A.J., Emily, Matthew; great grandchildren Vincent, Sebastian, Edmund, Rosemary, Felicity, Dominic; sister Alice Tewksbury. Preceded in death by wife Ann; daughter Nancy. John worked for 37 years for the State Highway Department in the bridge design section. He retired as a senior highway foreman. Upon retirement, he volunteered at the Museum of Nature and Science for 20 years in the Security Department and Special Exhibits. Visitation Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., Funeral Service Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Interment Fort Logan National Cemetery.
