John Patrick Lamberton passed away on August 4, 2018.
John cherished his family and friends. He was the person who would always listen and do whatever it took to help you out. He had as smile for everyone and a great sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to remember facts, history and trivia, especially about Denver.
John loved the outdoors. One of his favorite things to do was load up the camper and go on a road trip. John traveled extensively exploring much of the western United States on these trips. He also enjoyed camping and fishing in the Colorado Rockies. He always said,"" A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work"".
John was an avid Bronco fan and would open his front door and let out a whoop whenever the Bronco's scored. He also loved the Rockies.
A true Denver native, John lived his almost his entire life in Denver. John honorably served his county in the US Army and was stationed in West Germany. While stationed there, he loved to meet his relatives in Ireland.
John ran his own home repair company for many years. His ability to fix anything was amazing. He was always there to lend a hand to anyone who asked, and did it with a smile on his face.
We want to share our experiences and happy stories about John. We invite everyone who knew John to remember him with joy on Saturday August 11 at Eisenhower Park, located at the corner of South Dahlia Street and Highland Lane in Denver from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
